SC Villa assistant captain Isaac Muleme is among the gallant boys who propelled the nation to its 3rd CHAN finals after beating Sudanese Falcons 0-2 on Sunday night to the surprise of many pundits who had predicted a Cranes fall.

Muleme a second half substitute was all smiles after the final whistle. “We love our country and im very happy that we have qualified for the finals to be hosted by Rwanda,” said the Villa diminutive left back. The other notable Villa OB who featured proximately was Erias Sekisambu who crossed to Vipers at the beginning of the 2015/16 AUPL season. Cranes head coach Sredojevich Micho has not ruled out summoning more Villa players. “The room is still open and I will give a chance to anyone who excels,” said Micho a former Villa coach.

Midfielders Tadeo Lwanga and Geoffrey Lwesibawa are the potential Cranes material currently out of the national team.
