We face the Vipers tomorrow in a do or die match where we shall be in to hunt for our first win this season from our bitter rivals at home.

There wouldn’t be any better way to start wining in the league this season than against our league rivals who proved to be dangerous last season beating us home and away and even aging us in the Uganda cup¬† when we draw at Wankulukuku and then loosing at St. Mary’s Stadium last season loosing out on a final and our only chance of silverware last season.

This match finds us in quite a bad position on the table having failed to register a win this season registering only two draws and a loss which puts us in the 13th position whereas our opponents the snakes have managed to maintain a 100% winning streak to the start of this season and it is because of this tremendous form that they are on top of the Startimes Uganda Premier League with just 3 games so far and 9 points.

Villa has a chance of winning this game if our players try to utilize the chances we create in front of the opponents goal as this was the main issue in our concluded games when we failed to score even in our last meeting at Bright stars when quite a few chances couldn’t be finished off into the opponents net but with the addition of the former URA striker Ajab Abdurahuman into our striking force who missed out because of licensing issues and our attacking former Vipers player David Owori¬† plus the whole team commanded by team captain Ambrose Kirya, we hope to make this our first win this season.

Sports Club Villa urges the fans to turn up in big numbers see us drive to our first win this season in competitive football.
