Sc Villa Jogoo Uganda Head of Communications/PRO attended the FUFA Communications course Organised for Club Media Officers and Regional FA media officers.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) carried out a Five day Communications training for the Media Officers of the 16 Uganda Premier League Clubs(UPL), FUFA Big League Clubs and Regional Football Associations at FUFA Technical Center Njeru which started on the 17th-21st July 2018.

Sc Villa Jogoo Head of Communications/PRO attended the Five day training organised by FUFA where over 40 participants attended and taken through on Communications and Public Relations regarding football in Uganda and Globally. This is one of the Five year strategic plan set out by the Federation as they move towards Professionalising football in our motherland. This is What our PRO said about the training

This training came at the time when Ugandan clubs need most not only Sc Villa in Particular, however football is a big brand now and  my  club is a big brand too therefore needs Professionalism when it comes to Communication, i have learnt a lot in Football communications and Public Relations during the training, i strive forward to Professionalise our communications department.”

The head of communications FUFA Ahmed Hussein, Mr. Byamukama Rogers, Mr. Mazune, Mr, Jackson Nyima the Human Resource and Capacity building FUFA were among the Instructors who took the Participants through Various topics, such as football today, Process of accreditation for a match, use of Web 2.0, Professional Photos, Organising a Press Conference, Pre-match, Post Match, Mixed Zone among others.

The Guest of Honour Mr. Magola Isa a FUFA executive adressed the Participants on behalf of FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo. He thanked the Participants for attending the course and also said the vision of the Federation is to be the “Number one Football Nation in Africa in and off Pitch” and that’s why such a training are organised so as to Protect football, and urged Participants to put into practice what they studied in the Five day training.
